Great start to the month

Hi Folks,

Well the first week of the month has been very productive. I have traded on the football friendlies, prior to the world cup kick off. I have mainly layed the draw and also traded in the correct score market. I have also done a bit of trading in the French open tennis, including todays final. Here are my figures for the week:-

Tuesday 1st June 2010 - £32.87 profit
Wednesday 2nd June 2010 - -£4.83 loss
Thursday 3rd June 2010 - £2.39 profit
Friday 4th June 2010 - £27.19 profit
Saturday 5th June 2010 - £23.32 profit
Sunday 6th June 2010 - £16.25

So I had one day were I made a loss, but it was only a small loss.

So I have a profit for June of £97.19.

Total profit so far (46 days of trading) is £368.44

Well that is all for now, quick post today.

Until next time,

Take care Folks

  1. Hi Gareth

    Nice numbers again!

I also traded a bit on the Rolland Garros, and made 9.87€ but I was in the red almost all game since Sam Stoser never manage to take front. Used 10€ stakes

On the mens final, I only got 3.68€ since when I got home Nadal had already win 2 sets. Used one 100€ stake

  2. Yeah, I was the same. I had the green on Sam stoser from the start but then when she lost the first set I switched to the Italian. Then I kept the green on the Italian for the tie break. If she had lost the tie-break, I would of had the last set to try and minimise my losses on Stoser. I made about £2.64 I think.

The mens final I kept the green on Nadal, once he was a set up and the hedged for a £15 profit in the third and final set.

  3. Hi Gareth

Been reading your blog with great interest.

    On the football your strategy:

) Never lay the draw at odds of more than 5.0 (I layed the draw at 6.4, I was convinced England would win)
    2) Never trade on the over 2.5/3.5 goals markets in the second half of a match

After having placed lay bet on the draw and a lay bet on the say over 2.5 goals markets when do you green up ?

    a) wait for a goal,or
    b) green up on over 2.5 (maybe aslo green on draw ?), or
    c) continuously back and re -lay and back ?

I am intrigued, look forward to your comments.

    Thanks

    Hamant
