Hi folks,
Well after losing quite a bit of money on the tennis a few weeks ago, it is nice to post a few days of 'green' on the football.
I traded on the 22nd, 25th and the 26th. I posted profits of £4.05, £18.71 and £26.13 respectively.
Last night I traded in three games. The liverpool matched I layed the draw. The odds were quite even on betfair, so it didnt matter who scored first. I actually fancied Trabzonspor to win as they had won their last 6 home games and are a difficult side to beat. They took the lead and I hedged out for an £10 profit. Once the game settled down it turned into a bit of a dire affair, so I traded the over/under 2.5 goals market for about 10 mins, and made ~£5.
I then turned my attention to the Man City game. After their crushing victory over Liverpool and the fact that Man City have a great home record, I thought I would lay under 2.5 goals. Well after the first 20 mins, it was clear that the opposition were just defending and making it hard for Man City, so I hedged out for a £18 loss and layed over 2.5 goals and rode that for ten mins, and reduced my red down to ~£10. I then hedged out as Man City started to get on top and I sensed a goal was coming. After the first 15 mins of the game I also layed the AUQ scoreline and rode that for 15 mins, I managed to hedged out for ~£15 profit, so I managed a profit for the game of ~£5
Then I layed the draw in the aston villa match. I debated this one for awhile. But the reason I decided to go with it was because:-
1) Normally Villa are better at the start of the season, particularly at home. Then they tend to fade towards the second half of the season.
2) Agbonlahor was playing and I thought he would give them the edge, that coupled with the fact that it was a home game and the crowd were behind them, I thought they would get off to a good start.
So when Agbonlahor scored, I hedged out for a ~£8 profit.
So overall not a bad nights work
Happy trading folks.
