Thank God The Football Is Back

Hi folks,

I have not posted for awhile. I have not done much trading in recent weeks, as there has been no football on. However, I did some stupid trades on tennis, a couple of weeks ago and proceeded to lose a couple of hundred pounds. I think I was just trading for the sake of it and did not even really look at the stats. So I think the take home points from this were:-

1) Don't get too cocky and over-confident.
2) Don't use larger stakes when trading, especially when trading in a area you are a novice in.

Anyway, thank god the football is back.

I could not trade at the weekend as I was busy, and I also tend not to trade on markets such as 'laying the draw' until a few games into the season when there are a few stats to examine.

Even taking this into consideration, there was a couple of 'bankers' for the first round of premiership games.

I was going to lay under 2.5 goals in the Chelsea game on saturday; however, I could not get to my computer. After 5 minutes when the first goal went in you could of hedged out for a nice profit.

I did trade on the man utd game last night. I layed under 2.5 goals. After 15 minutes, Newcastle were doing ok, so I took a risk and also traded in AUQ market and layed and rode that for 10-15 minutes. I hedged out when man utd started to 'go through the gears' and started to create chances. I only made £5, but profit is profit.

Then man utd scored two goals in about 10 minutes and I hedged out of the under 2.5 goal market for a ~£30 profit. So overall I made a profit of £34.42.

So my 3% target was achieved for the day.

Bye for now guys and happy trading.
