Good Mid-Week

Hi folks,

Well after not being able to trade on Monday night, I traded on the football on Tuesday and Wednesday night and also did a bit of trading on the Tennis on Wednesday night.

I did a mixture of laying the draw, laying the underdog, laying over 2.5 goals and riding the 0-0 for 15 minutes.

On Tuesday I managed to make a profit of £3.39
On Wednesday I managed to make a profit of £9.62.

So my original bank was £100
Current Bank is £196.05.

So in 24 days we have almost managed to double the bank.

Long may it continue.

Happy trading

  1. Great effort. Not bad at all. You must be doing well on your ltd picks. What do you look for in a game to ltd? Do you look for certain odds ranges and or form? when do you decide to get out if its going aginst you? Also with a small bank what % stakes do you use to scalp 0-0?

Sorry for the host of questions, I'm interested on your approach with small banks, You seem to have a good one.

Good to see you still going and blogging though.

  2. Hi Sheff, no problem with the questions.

For LTD I do the following:-

    1) LTD 5.0 or less
    2) I look for odds on favs and even teams with similar odds to trade
    3) I use soccerstats and compile important stats for the games, looking at current form and goals scored and conceded.
    4) I have a stop loss of 1.90
    5) At 1.90 I hedge out for 5% loss of bank.

You do need to be selective and have a good strike rate, mine is currently about 77%

    Hope that helps

  3. Oh I forgot, when it goes against me, i.e. when you have a odds on fav and the underdog scores it depends again on the stats and the game.

I sometimes lay the underdog, if I think the goal was against the run of play. Other times I just stay in the trade waiting for the fav to score, but I do hedge out after about 65-70 mins, as if the fav does score a goal after that point the odds on the draw will be below my original stop loss of 1.90, and I would lose far more than 5% of bank
