Well today was the first time I felt back in the grove, I am sure it was because I had a good day, but things were clear and I was in the zone.
I only traded on the football today and my target for the day was £4.47, which was 3% of bank. However, I managed to make £6.88 and to be fair I should of made alot more if I had been decisive as the badger says. Before the Chelsea Vs Sunderland game based on the stats I had decided to lay Chelsea for the first 15 minutes of the game for two reasons:-
1) Chelsea were not playing well and have been lucky with a few of their recent results
2) Sunderland, with the exception of their blip, 5-1 to Newcastle, have a very good defence this year, so I thought they might frustrate Chelsea.
So I did lay Chelsea at 1.30 for £40. If Chelsea scored early then I could hedge out at 1.1 for about £7.50 lose, 5% of bank. But if Sunderland hung in there I could hedge out for a profit. Well after 15 minutes Chelsea had done nothing, but I lost my bottle, thinking Chelsea would score, and hedged out for a £1 profit, Shortly afterwards, Sunderland started to dominate and then scored. If I had stayed in and be decisive as the badger says I would of been able to hedge out for about £20 profit for a maximum risk of £7.50. doh!!!!!
Anyway overall it was a good day, I managed to make £6.88 by trading on this game and a couple of other games.
So my bank now stands at £156.
I am sure I will have some bad days to come, but I feel like I am getting back into the zone
Also I can't wait for the new version of Evo, as it has a training mode, and I so realise that during the summer, I really need to learn to trade in horses, when no football is on as that is were the money is.
Happy trading guys
