Well I had a badminton tournament on Sunday so could only trade the night game of Palmero Vs Roma. I layed the draw and rode the AUQ once it was 1-0. I managed to lock in a profit of £4.60.
Tonight I traded in the Barcelona Vs Real Madrid game. I layed the draw, then when Barcelona were 1-0 up I layed Real Madrid as Barcelona were totally on top. I managed to lock in a profit of £8.12
However, it was not all plain sailing. I thought it would be a tight game, so I backed the 0-0 for the first 15 mins, however when Barcelona scored I was £11.50 down in the correct score market. I then made another mistake as I layed the AUQ for £5, as I thought that Real Madrid would keep it tight for the next 15 mins. Then Barcelona scored a second and I was looking at a loss of £18.50 in the correct score market. Anyway I waited until the second half and as I watched the first 5 mins there was no change on the pitch. Barcelona were totally on top and you could see another goal coming, so I layed the 2-0 for £10 at 5.2, and two minutes later Barcelona scored, so I had minimised my losses on the correct score market to -£8.50, and I hedged on the result market for a profit of £17.50, so after commission I made an overall profit of £8.12.
Just thought I would tell the whole story as it just shows how you can turn things around by watching the game and being patient and sticking to the stake plan and not doing a big 'punt'
