Hi folks,
Well yesterday was another poor day. I think I maybe I am trying too hard and possibly staying in trades too long. I decided to trade the QPR Vs Sheff Utd game. QPR are flying high and are cantering to a league title. However, Sheff Utd had shown a mini recovery of late, and I was thinking the game might be a tight one. Looking at the stats, QPR score most of their goals in the second half of games, and certainly don't score many goals in the first 15 mins of the game. Therefore, I decided to lay over 2.5 goals and hedge out after 15 mins. However, I did not hedge out, I stayed in. Maybe it was because I was thinking of trying to recover more of my money from the Saturday, I am not sure. Anyway, QPR scored. I then laid over 2.5 goals again for the same amount of money, and was hoping that it would stay 1-0 until half time, which it did. At half-time I should of hedged out for a small green and lived to fight another day, but I didn't, then QPR scored a second goal, early in the second half and I did hedge out for a loss of -£29.02.
The last couple of days I seem to have lost my discipline, and I need to take a step back and reassess and get it back
Happy Trading
