Trading Trading Trading

Hi Folks,

Well I did some trading yesterday and today, as the Cricket, Horse Racing and Tennis come think and fast.

Yesterday I did a bit of trading on the Tennis. I laid Murray at the start of his match at 1.03 for £70, as normally he gets off to a slow start and his odds drift out. However, today this did not happen, sods law!!! and I lost -£2.10.

I then traded on the Verdasco Vs Haase match. I backed Verdasco from the begining of the match, and he was woeful and he got broken. I then switch and backed Haase, until he won the first set and I hedged out for a small lose, ~-£0.10. I then backed Verdasco at the begining of the second set as he started showing signs of improvement at the end of the second set and he got broken again, so I hedged out for ~-£1.48 loss. Once Haase won the second set, I backed Verdasco at the begnining of the 3rd set, as towards the end of the second set he got one break back. Verdasco broke Haase in the 3rd set and won the 3rd set and I managed to hedge out for a profit of +£2.82.

So I made a small profit of +£0.58 for the day.

Today I did a further trade for the West Indies Vs India test match. At the start of play today the West Indies were 131/3, and they needed 326 to win the match. The were trading at ~4.0. I decided to lay them. For the following reasons:-

1) At Sabina Park no team since Pakistan ~1977 had even managed 300 runs, when chasing during the 4th Innings, and even then Pakistan still did not win.
2) Also, out of ~2000 tests only 16 had managed to chase 325 or greater (~1%)

So I was convinced that the West Indies would not win. Well after two quick wickets fell, including Chanderpaul, I managed to hedge out for a profit of +£4.24 (my total for the game was +£5.14, as I made ~+£0.90 from laying the draw at the begining of the test)

I also did a small amount of Pre-Horse race trading tonight:-

Race 1:- +£0.02
Race 2:- +£0.08
Race 3:- +£0.04
Race 4:- +£0.07

So I made a total profit of +£0.21

I also did some Tennis trading tonight.

I backed Melzer in his match against Tursanov, and hedged out when he broke and won the first set for a profit of +£0.58
I also backed Ferre in his match against Harrison, when he lost the first set, and when he won the second set I managed to lock in a profit of +£0.72.

So overall for today I managed to make a profit of +£5.25

Happy Trading

p.s. I have downloaded Camstudio and I am going to try and construct some trading videos. They are mainly for my benefit, but I might post some on here if people would like to have a look
