18th September 2013 A different day!!!!

Hi folks,

Well yesterday was a great day, but today was a tough day and ultimately a loss.

Here is a break down of the trades:-

LTD from the start

QPR Vs Brighton - Lost 5pts
Napoli Vs Dortmund - Won 2.42pts
Ath Madrid Vs Zenit - Won 1.74pts
Chelsea Vs Basel - Scratch trade

Laying the underdog

Chelsea Vs Basel - Lost 4.69pts

Overs/Under 2.5 goals

QPR Vs Brighton - Back under 2.5 goals - Won 0.20pts
Barcelona Vs Ajax - Back under 2.5 goals - Lost 0.30pts
Napoli Vs Dortmund - Lay under 2.5 goals - Won 0.28pts

Lay 0-0 HT

Napoli Vs Dortmund - Won 0.28pts
Barcelona Vs Ajax - Won 0.28pts

So this evening I lost 4.79pts. The major mistakes I made were:-

1) Napoli Vs Dortmund; when Napoli were 1-0 up and Dortmund were down to ten men I stayed in for 10 minutes in the second half hoping for a second goal and odds of 9.0 to hedge. But I started getting nervous rather than sticking to the plan and I hedged out for a profit, but 10 minutes layer Napoli scored to make it 2-0 and I could have made 6pts instead of 2.42pts.

2) Chelsea Vs Basel; when it was 1-2 I hedged for a scratch trade and layed Basel as Chelsea have never lost there opening fixture of the champions league. If I had just stayed with the scratch I would have broke even for the night.

Overall though it was a good two nights trading with a decent profit and with the games coming thick and fast we will see how the month of September ends
