Tennis and Football

Hi folks,

Another good day trading today. Firstly I traded the tennis during the day, but only a few matches as I was out in the sun doing some garden jobs. I traded the following games:-

Monaco Vs Lopez - Won £2.11
Gulbis Vs Marchenko -Won £0.46
Dodig Vs Petzschner - Won £3.17
Stephanek Vs Golubev - Won £1.32

A good day in the tennis. The Monaco Vs Lopez game I backed both on serve afte the first service game each. Then when Monaco was 15-40 down when it was 3-3 I hedged out and then laid him. Lopez broke him and went on to win the set, and I greened up for a £2.11 profit.

I only won a tiny amount on the Gulbis game as I did not trade this game for the start as Gulbis starting odds were too low. I waited until he was a break down and then backed him. However, he got broken again, and looking at the stats it was apparent he was not playing well, so I switched sides. When Marchenko won the first set I greened up for a small profit of £0.46

Dodig has been on a good run lately, and Petzshner can be hot and cold. So for this game I waited to see how the game unfolded before taking a side. Petzschner got off to a rocket of a start and Dodg was caught cold. When Petzscher was 3-0 up I laid Dodig on his serve. Petzschner broke him again and I greened up at the end of the first set for £3.17

The final game between Stephanek and Golubev was hard to call from the begining. Stephanek has been on a poor run recently, so I laid him from the begining of the game. However, he took charge of the first set and was a break up quickly. I then switched sides and laid Golubev and greened up when Stephanek won the first set for a profit of £1.32

I then did a bit of trading on the football in the evening. I laid the draw in the Man Utd game, with a small insurance bet on the 0-0 just in case, which in hindsight was pointless as Schalke were rubbish and got battered. Their goalkeeper kept them in the game in the first half. I also laid over 2.5 goals for the first 15-20 mins of the game as I thought it would be a low scoring tight game. I was a bit lucky on that one as Schalke did not turn up, apart from their goalkeeper.

I also laid the draw in the Stoke Vs Wolves game, as Stokes home form is very good and Wolves are rubbish away from home.

Overall I made a profit of £11.53 on the football and a profit of £7.06 on the tennis

So my overall profit for the day was £18.59, which was 4.39% of bank, slightly above target for the day.
