Arsenal Vs Liverpool

Arsenal Vs Liverpool is the second early kick-off this weekend.

Arsenal have won 1 of their last 6 matches, scoring 6 goals and conceding 9 goals, with 2 clean sheets. They have failed to score in only 1 match and have lost 3. Liverpool have won 3 of the last 6 matches, scoring 14 goals and conceding 6, with 2 clean sheets. They have failed to score in 2 matches and have lost 2.

In the last 6 home games Arsenal have won 2 and scored 4 goals and conceded 3 with 4 clean sheets. They have failed to score in 2 matches and have lost 1. In Liverpool's last 6 away matches they have won 2 and scored 10 goals and conceded 9 goals with 1 clean sheet. They have failed to score in 1 and have lost 3.

Last season Arsenal had a 64.7% success rate vs Liverpool's 53.9%
At home last season Arsenal had a 68.4% success rate vs Liverpool's away success rate of 34.2%.
Arsenal scored 62.6% of all goals in their games last season and Liverpool scored 57.3% of all goals in their games.

Overall last season Arsenal scored 69 goals and conceded 46. They kept 31.6% clean sheets and scored in 82% of games. Liverpool scored 59 goals and conceded 44. They kept 36.8% clean sheets and scored in 82% of games.
Last season Arsenal W11D4L4 home games. They scored 33 and conceded 15 and kept 8 clean sheets.
Last season Liverpool W5D3L11 away games. They scored 22 and conceded 30 and kept 4 clean sheets

The H2H stats are heavily in Arseanl's favour. The overall H2H's are 11 Arsenal wins, 13 draws and 14 Liverpool wins, since the premiership began. However when Arsenal are the hosts, 19 premiership games have yielded 7 Arsenal wins and 7 draw and 5 Liverpool wins. Liverpool's last win at Arsenal came in 1999/2000 season, 11 years ago.

Conclusion:- Looking at the stats for the last 6 games, Liverpool have the advantage. Overall for the season, the stats are fairly even. However, when you look at home vs away form, Aresnal definitely come out on top. Also when looking at the H2H's between the two teams, you can't see Liverpool winning this game. The only thing in Liverpool's favour is Arsenal have a seriously depleted squad, and fabregas has finally left.

Even taking that into account I still think this game could be 0-0 or 1-1, The last 4 seasons, there have been three 1-1 and one 1-0. Therefore, I don't think I will lay the draw in this one. I think I will lay over 2.5 goals for 5% of bank and hedge out after 15-20 minutes. If a early goal is scored I will lay over 2.5 goals again and wait until half-time or another goal.

I will also lay Liverpool @3.5, I will set a stop loss at 1.35, which will allow me to stay in the trade for awhile if Liverpool score first.

Happy Trading
