Everton Vs Liverpool

Well today's early clash is the merseyside derby between Everton Vs Liverpool

Looking at the form this season the success rate for Everton comes out at 48%.

This equates to a 33% chance of an Everton win, a 30% chance of the draw and a 37% chance of a Liverpool win.

The last 5 games this season, Everton have 2 wins, they have scored 6 goals and conceded 6, keeping only 1 clean sheet. They have lost 2 matches. 40% of their games have been over 2.5 goals.

Liverpool have had 3 wins out of their last 5, they have scored 8 goals and conceded 8, keeping only 1 clean sheet. They have lost 2 matches. 60% of their games have been over 2.5 goals.

Liverpool have only scored in 1 of the last 3 matches. Everton have scored in 2 of the last 3 matches. Everton have not kept a clean sheet in the last 3 matches.

If we look at the last 6 matches home vs away form, Everton have won 4, scoring 10 goals and conceding 5 goals, they have kept 2 clean sheets, however both of them were last season. They have only lost 1. 50% of the 6 games were over 2.5 goals. They have scored in 83.3% of the 6 matches

Liverpool in their last 6 away matches have won 2, scoring 8 goals (5 goals were in 1 games last season against Fulham), they have conceded 10, keeping only 1 clean sheet. They have lost 3. They have scored in 50% of these games.

Both teams have had no 0-0's this season.

H2H's:- In 38 premiership matches, there have been 4 0-0 and only 1 0-0 at Goodison Park.
At Goodison Park, Everton have won 8 out of 19 matches (but they have only won 1 in the last 4), Liverpool have won 8 out of 19 (3 out of the last 4).
8 of the 19 games have been over 2.5 goals and 11 out of 19 have been under 2.5 goals.

Score timing:- Everton have scored no goals in the first 15 minutes this season, Liverpool have scored 3 in first 15 minutes this season, however, all of these were at home.

Conceding timing:- Everton have conceded no goals in the first 15 minutes this season. Liverpool have conceded 1 in the first 15 minutes.

The odds for this match are fairly even, both teams have not kept many clean sheets, and with Carragher for Liverpool, he is prone to making mistakes with his age catching up with him now. I think I will lay the draw as we only need a goal. Also the game will be tight at the start and players will be getting a foot in. So I think I will lay over 2.5 goals for the first 15 minutes.

Happy Trading

UPDATE:- Well the red card was never a red card and that spoilt the match. After 30 minutes when it was 10 vs 11, I put a insurance bet on the 0-0, just in case Everton hung on. I managed to hedge out for a nice profit on the over/under 2.5 goals market and when Carroll scored I hedged out of laying the draw.
