Groningen Vs PSV (11:30am)
The early Sunday kick-off in the Dutch league is Groningen Vs PSV, 2nd Vs 9th. PSV are currently 5pts off the top spot, so a win today would close the gap ahead of Almaar’s match later on today. Let’s have a look at the stats.
Firstly we will have a look at the success rate for both teams and the weight of goals (WOG), home vs away.
The graph gives us some mixed results. Overall for the season, PSV have the higher success rate, but when it comes to home vs away, Groningen have a strong home record. Also home vs away winning% is strongly in Groningen’s favour. Weight of goals (WOG) is fairly even overall, but PSV score more 1st half goals and Groningen score more 2nd half goals. Let’s have a look at the goals per game and goals conceded per game as well as total goals in each teams games
This set of results presents a clear picture. PSV score a higher number of goals per game across the board. Also they concede less goals per game across the board.
Next we will look at the number of clean sheets and the number of matches the teams have failed to score in.

As we can see Groningen have kept more clean sheets than PSV. However, PSV have a significantly lower FTS%.
Now let’s have a look at overall and current form and Home vs Away Form.

Overall and current form sees PSV winning more games, hence why they are higher in the league. However when it comes to home form vs away form, Groningen have had more wins than PSV, and have a very good home record.
H2H’S
The H2H’S also favour PSV with them winning 8 of the last 11 matches. They have also won 3 of the last 5 matches at Groningen.

Groningen have a very good home record and it will be difficult for PSV. However, looking at the stats overall you have to favour PSV. Also Groningen have lost their last 3 games overall and the goals have dried up. I think I will lay the draw as PSV score more goals in the 1st half. I think I will also lay under 2.5 goals.

Well i got this one completely wrong. However, I still managed to make a profit as when Groningen went 1-0 up I stayed in the LTD, as it was an early goal and there was plenty of time left in the match. Then after halftime Groningen scored a second and PSV got a man sent off so I hedged out for a profit. I also made a profit by laying under 2.5 goals.
