Well the end of Feb is almost here, and with no serious football on the next few days, I have called time on my trading for this month. Well after a great January, the same old discipline problems can back into my trading in February. I started the month badly and ended up chasing my losses and that lead to being about £110 down for the month mid-Feb. Then I rolled my sleeves up and traded steadily making all the money back until I was about £6 in profit for the month. However, I then lost my discipline once again last weekend and ended up being about £80 down. I finally traded well this weekend, finishing the month with a loss of -£47.64 for Feb.
Here is a break down of my profit/losses.
Lay The Draw = -£43.15
Lay The Fav = £55.56
Over/under 1.5 goals = -£25.00
Over/under 2.5 goals = -£113.44
Over/under 4.5 goals = -£35.67
Back 0-0 = -£14.07
Lay the current score = £52.15
Tennis - Lay the Fav = £45.71
Tennis - Back the Fav = £30.27
I was very frustrated after an excellent January. I have analysed my results, and the main reason for my losses this month, is not obeying my stop losses. If I had obeyed my stop losses in all my trades this month I would have made a profit of £176.65.
So it is back to the drawing board, here's hoping that March is a far better month.
