Saturday Early Kick-offs

Hi Folks,

The first match today in the premiership pits two poor teams against each other. Bolton are 2nd from bottom and QPR are 4th from bottom. The odds for this match are fairly even, so we don't need to do detailed analysis. We just need a goal, so lets have a look at some of the key points:-

  • Bolton have only had 1 0-0 at home in the league this season
  • QPR have had no 0-0's in the league away this season
  • Bolton have kept 2 clean sheets at home out of 13 league matches
  • QPR have kept 2 clean sheets at home out of 13 league matches.
  • Overall for the season Bolton average 1gpg
  • Overall for the season QPR average 1gpg
  • The last 6 matches both teams have played have only contained 1 clean sheet.
  • QPR have scored in 5 of the last 6 matches and Bolton in 2 of the last 6 matches.
  • The last 5 meetings between the two sides have seen Bolton win 4 and one draw.
Verdict:- Looking at the stats, QPR for me have a slight advantage going into the game. Both teams concede goals, but QPR have the edge scoring the goals and maybe have a bit more quality.
Lay the draw for 5% of bank

The first match of the Championship today is a Midlands derby, Coventry Vs Birmingham. Now on paper Birmingham should win this game, but we all know that Derbies don't work like that. Also Coventry have been strong at home recently. Also the last couple of games Birmingham seem to have slipped up. Could it be that the bubble is starting to burst, could the season be catching up with them with all the early Europa league matches they played. Also will they have a FA Cup hangover. I don't think I will risk laying the draw in this match. However, both teams tend not to score or concede early goals, so I may lay over 2.5 goals for the 1st 15 mins of the game

Happy Trading
