May Trading

Hi Folks,

Well May has been a bit of a quite month, well the second half of the month has been. Here is my trading break down for the month.

Football = +£114.92
Tennis = -£81.25
Cricket =+£11.37 (Laying the draw in the two England Vs West Indies Test Matches)

So I made a total profit for the month of +£45.04

The first part of the month for the Tennis trading cost me big. I have actually examined my Tennis trading stats, and I have a strike rate of 82%. However, my problem is I let losing trades run far too long, therefore making it impossible to make a profit. Towards the end of the month I changed my methods slightly and went back down to £5 stakes. During the French Open in May (the 1st 5 days of the tournament) I have carried out 36 trades, I had 28 succesful trades.Since I changed my tactics and changed my stop loss procedure I have carried out 26 trades up to the end of May in the Tennis. I have won 22 of the trades, making a profit of £18.42. So hopefully I can keep the discipline going. I have only been using £5 stakes

I have also been testing other methods using minimum stakes of £2, starting with a bank of £50. The breakdown for May is as follows:-

Football:- £1.42
Cricket (ODI or T20) :- -£1.10

Happy Trading
