Stoke Vs Man Utd

This evening's premiership clash is between Stoke and Man Utd.

I have the success rate here as 2% for the home side!!!
This equates to a 2% chance of a stoke win, 18% draw and 80% for Man Utd.
The goal expectancy is 3.0
% chance of 0 goals is 5%
% chance of the home team scoring first is 10%

The first 5 games of the season for both teams are as follows:-

Stoke have won 2 out of 5 matches, scoring 3 goals and conceding 5 goals, and keeping 3 clean sheets. They have failed to score in 2 matches and have lost 1.They have scored in 60% of their matches and kept 60% clean sheets. Only 20% of their games have been over 2.5 goals.

Man Utd have won 5 out of 5 matches, scoring 21 goals and conceding 4, and keeping 2 clean sheets. They have failed to score in 0 matches and have lost 0. They have scored in 100% of their matches and kept 40% clean sheets. 100% of their games have been over 2.5 goals.

This season stoke have had 1 0-0 and Man Utd have had 0 0-0.

Man Utd are one of the few teams who have yet to drop any points at Stoke's fortress of a ground. The last 6 meetings, Man Utd have won all 6 and have won all 3 at Stoke.
4 of the 6 matches have been over 2.5 goals and at stoke only 1 of the 3 have been over 2.5 goals.

Stoke have only scored 1 1st half goal and 2 second half goals. Man Utd have score 48% of their goals in the 1st half and 52% of their goals have been in the 2nd half. Stoke have not conceded a goal at home in their first two games and have only lost 1 of their last 11 matches.

This will be a tough game for Man Utd, as Stoke is a tough place to go. Man Utd will be without Rooney as he has a slight hamstring strain. However, Man Utd have not dropped any points at this ground and I can still see them being too good for this stoke side. Stoke will want to bounce back from their 4-0 hammering in their last premiership game. However, I cannot see them getting anything out of this match. However, I think they will keep it tight and make it hard for Man United.

I will look to lay the draw and maybe lay over 2.5 goals.

Happy Trading
